The New Marc Steiner Show

Really great show yesterday on the raid of Sheila Dixon's house and the ongoing investigation. You had a great group pulled together for the discussion. The discussion was lively and timely. I heard topics discussed that I've seen nothing about in any other media. Marc you really hit your stride with this one. The first show last Wednesday seemed crowded with three topics. A one topic show seems a better choice for the hour format. A minor quibble: it's great to have you back on the air.Bryce

Marc's new show

I finally had a chance to hear the new show. I sat in my living room and Marc's voice came on and seriously it was if I was  getting CPR. It's been so depressing, but enough of that!

Maria and Max were so interesting. Since meeting them through the WYPR fiasco I've been moved by the passion they have for what I care about. They do it while wring my hands about it. As a difficult time in my life is coming to an end I will be able to participate with thier leadership.

I want to comment on Brochin. I had the opportunity to meet him at a  gathering of the Orthodox Jewish community to view a movie about sexual abuse in the that community. I went with good friends of mine who are active in the Catholic community about the same issue. These two groups have been working together with the courageous help of Jim Brochin. He seems to be the real thing. The discussion today made me wonder if these two groups have also been infiltrated. There are many in our State gov't unwilling to pass legislation regarding this matter. Sen Miller being the most powerful and the most resistant. Brochin is really very heroic going up against these guys. Marc, Welcome back. I feel so much better that you are talking about our world again in a public forum. We need you.

"Bread and Butter" Homes under $300,000 for First Time Buyers

Dear Mr. Steiner,
I have an idea for a show I would like to share with you.
I am a teacher and a real estate agent. Would it be possible to discuss this idea and receive your expertise
on how to bring this idea to fuition?
Most sincerely,
Paula Shevitz

Alonzo Interview Terrific!

I hope more people are listening to the show than are posting comments here. Marc's skill as an interviewer really came to the fore in the Alonzo piece. His ability to just listen instead of constantly interjecting himself as is the tendency of some other talk show hosts, really let Alonzo's passion come out. We are lucky to have both of them in Baltimore.Bryce

Podcast?

The new show is off to a great start. While I appreciate being able to hear it online through the website, is there any chance you could create an RSS feed (as you have for the CEM specials) so that shows will download directly to iTunes? Thanks a lot.

Yes.

We are currently working on this, Nick!

thanks, bryce

appreciate the feedback.. we're still in the process of thinking about how to approach the new show, given the one hour format and different time slot.. it's really useful to hear our listeners' perspectives on what they think works best, so i encourage others out there to keep the feedback coming in. this forum would be a great place for that - thanks for setting it up, bryce.
