CEM at the Democratic Convention Blogging Corps

I just read that CEM will be the Maryland blog attending the Democratic Convention as a member of the Blogging Corps! That must be very exciting.

I'd like to know, who will be blogging?

Then I went to the Democratic Convention website State Blogger Corps page they referenced:

Which says:

"Months ago, we began the process of credentialing bloggers who cover state and local politics, as part of the DemConvention State Blogger Corps. More than 400 blogs applied for the program. And they’re incredible. Some blogs are the work of dedicated groups of activists, a few are full-time professional endeavors, and many others are the products of busy individuals blogging about local politics in their free time. Those selected to be part of our State Blogger Corps were announced today. And in every case, these bloggers have become experts on the political happenings in their states.

"You’ll see a list below of the 55 blogs that will comprise the State Blogger Corps. They’ll be seated with their respective delegations at the Convention. These bloggers will have some of the best seats in the house and they’ll be the eyes and ears of local audiences online around the country. DNC Chairman Howard Dean recorded a message to introduce the program – so I’ll let him explain the rest."

you beat us to the punch here! it's true that we'll be the maryland blog for the state blogger corps in denver, and we're really excited. we just found out last week. i'll be going, along with marc and lea gilmore. we'll all be blogging, and providing you with as many interviews and as much coverage and analysis as we can squeeze in a 25 hour day.

The blog I got the info from was concerned about whether there would be any persons of color in the state blogger corps.

Lea Gilmore

Lists of WYPR CAB members have identified Lea Gilmore as Outreach Director, Maryland Black Family Alliance. Doesn't mean she is a "person of color," of course, but I'm betting...

Hmm. I wonder if Ms. Gilmore still is on the CAB. Anybody want to answer that question?
